Tahoe Nevada

Chartered in 1970 and arguably the most active AAUW chapter in the Lake Tahoe area, the Tahoe Nevada branch has an enviable record of innovative collaboration with other community entities. A 501c3 corporation for fund raising, we also actively support the national organization of AAUW (a 501c3 corporation formerly known as the American Association of University Women) and the AAUW Action Fund (formerly known as the Legal Advocacy Fund, 501c6). The Tahoe Nevada branch also has active special interest groups such as the Outdoor Enthusiasts, the Book Group, and Bridge. The Tahoe Nevada branch meets for dinner and a program on the third Wednesday of each month, unless the membership is notified of a change. To make a dinner reservation, email Cindy Frei. interest groups such as the Outdoor Enthusiasts, the Book Group, and Bridge.
